Dysgraphia literally means bad handwriting. It’s an inability to get what’s in your head onto paper. This is an incredibly stressful thing for a child at any level who will find they start falling behind once they are expected to focus on a learning objective yet find it exhausting to form words on paper.
We’ve been looking at different ways to work on spelling homework without meltdowns. This video uses flour in a tuff tray. It’s fantastic for children who like messy sensory activities.
