Half Term Activities for Children in Bristol at Brunel’s ss Great Britain

Families visiting Brunel’s ss Great Britain this half term can find out all about life as a Victorian traveller.

New Boarding Cards will be issued to visitors featuring 36 real people from the ship’s history. There will be interactive maps around the site allowing people to find out about their character’s adventures.

The Global Stories project will also be launching during the half term week. This interactive database charts the journeys of more than 30,000 people who lived and travelled on the ship. It’s taken three years to compile the historical information which includes passenger and crew lists as well as private journals.
