Modern families communicating through social networking sites

Modern families are ditching face-to-face conversations and keeping in touch through modern technology.

Nearly one third of families are now keeping in contact through social networking sites such as Facebook and Myspace, on average three times a week.

The study by Flip Video, found that 27 per cent of people now rely on technology for sharing videos and photographs to their friends and family.
