Great gifts for Grandma at new online store

Amongst the hundreds of new e-commerce businesses launching every day, Grandma’s Gifts fills a genuine gap in the market.

The website sells nostalgic, sentimental and life-changing gifts just for grandparents.

The store was set up by Mark Readman, who wanted to create a place for people to buy older family members really thoughtful presents that would be loved and appreciated.

Mark says: “I was saddened that grandparents are becoming the ‘Forgotten Generation of the 21st century’ simply because we often have no common ground or interests. The gifts on the site can bring generations together by allowing them to share their pasts and experiences.”

Amongst the range of pretty and fun gifts, the site is the only UK retailer to stock a range of products for people with Alzheimer’s and Dementia.

Mark’s own grandma was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s in 2007. Since then, his family have conducted their own research into useful products to help her with her independence and are stocking the best ones on Grandma’s Gifts.

Mark adds: “It’s very hard to watch my grandma live with Alzheimer’s, but giving her a present that triggers a memory and makes her smile is like getting a little part of her back again. That’s an amazing feeling and one I want to pass onto others.”
