Southern fathers lose out this weekend

When it comes to making dad’s day this weekend, South West fathers appear to be losing out on the present front.

According to a survey by BuyAGift, fathers in the north won out overall with a whopping £100 being lavished on their Father’s Day present.

Sadly only 7.8 per cent of Londoners and 6.7 per cent of dads living in Bournemouth had family prepared to shell out the same amount.

The average gift spend across the UK was £20, with 52 per cent of voters opting to restrict themselves to this amount.

If you are still shopping around to buy dad a gift, the most unpopular gifts dads said they received were socks, nothing, just a card, a book or a mug.
