David Beckham most popular celebrity dad

A poll released ahead of Fathers’ Day, found sportsman David Beckham to be the most popular famous dad with the UK public.

The poll of 1,391 people living in the UK was commissioned by MyVoucherCodes.co.uk.

The company was aiming to find out which famous father was the biggest inspiration to the general public.

Topping the poll with 73 per cent was footballing favourite David Beckham, followed by Brad Pitt with 68 per cent and winner of the PR divorce battle, Peter Andre in third place with 64 per cent.

Surprisingly, despite axing the Child Trust Fund and believed to be holding the axe over the welfare state, David Cameron was voted into seventh place with 52 per cent of the votes.

Poll voters think he is a great dad because he is a ‘good role model’ and family man.
