Baby charity to receive cash from insurance site

A baby charity is set to receive a cash boost thanks to teaming up with a new insurance website.

The charity Tommy’s, has registered on donatesomeback.com, which lets people make savings on their car and home insurance and makes donations of up to £25 to the charity of their choice.

The company behind the site has pledged to donate 50 per cent of its turnover to UK charities and non-profit organisations.

Tommy helps to save babies lives by funding medical research into the causes and prevention of traumatic miscarriage, premature birth and stillbirth. They are aiming to halve the number of babies who die during pregnancy or birth by 2030.
