Tesco – Carousel Drive and Talk Emergency Vehicles

The Carousel Drive and Talk Police Car, Carousel Drive and Talk Ambulance and Carousel Drive and Talk Fire Engine has been recalled. This is due to a small directional wheel under the toy which may become detached and cause a choking hazard.

Return the toy to the store for a full refund. No receipt is required.

Red Kite Baby – 3 Way Carrier
The Red Kite Baby – 3 Way Carrier was sold in shops between November 2017 and April 2018.

 

The batches Affected: RK 2899 / RK 2900 / RK 2901 / RK 3003

Some 3 Way Carriers from the above batches may have a manufacturing defect causing the clips to fail and poses a risk to the baby.

uppababy rumble seat recall

The UPPAbaby – RumbleSeat is taking a ‘proactive initiative’ against some seat adapters sold before 2017 due to them detaching from strollers. UPPAbaby says the fault is ‘likely’ due to ‘consumer misuse’ when an older child excessively kicks the RumbleSeat from behind.

 

Those who own a RumbleSeat (SKU #0252, #0186, #0191, #0200, #0216, #0196), manufactured between September 2014 and November 2016, will be provided with new 2017 RumbleSeat adapters.

Voluntary recall from Mothercare – My First Keys

Mothercare is undertaking a voluntary recall of the Mothercare My First Keys due to a risk of the battery compartment coming off and exposing the button cell battery.

This toy was sold in Mothercare stores and on the Mothercare website from June 2017 to April 2018.

If you own one of these toys top using it and return your product to a Mothercare store where a full refund will be given.

 

Recall: BS – Magnetic Putty
The BS Magnetic Putty in gold and black with barcode 6989530087573 has been recalled because it contains a magnet which could cause intestinal blockage or perforation if swallowed.

The product does not comply with the requirements of the Toy Safety Directive and the relevant European standard EN 71-1.

 

Recall: Argos – Cuggl Camborne Cots
Cuggl Camborne cots have a top rail which could detach over time, exposing sharp points.

The product affected and being recalled is the Cuggl Camborne cot bed – two-tone Cat no. 737/6483

Cuggl Camborne cot bed – white Cat no. 737/8443

These cot beds are also found as part of the following three-piece sets:
Cuggl Camborne three-piece set – two-tone – cat No. 709/5654
Cuggl Camborne three-piece set – white – cat No. 739/8258

This recall does not affect the chest of drawers or wardrobe, where the cot was purchased as part of a three-piece set.

A voluntary recall for the Dualfix sold November 2017 – March 2018 is taking place due to potential safety issue with a component in the seat.
