Beware the Christmas laws

Beware of falling foul, or in some cases fowl, of silly Christmas by-laws, warns Darren Green of MTA Solicitors.

Despite being the festive favourite on Christmas Day, it is actually against the law to eat a mine pie on the big day.

If you are planning on taking your flock of sheep across London Bridge, or driving geese down Cheapside, it is actually toll free during this time.

Best of all, Scottish people beware, it is illegal to be drunk in possession of a cow. We assume they are referring to the bovine variety.
