Bristol Business Women Make National Business Awards for Turtle Tots
Bristol based business Turtle Tots, has fast become one of the biggest names nationwide for baby swimming lessons.
The Turtle Tots method starts before birth, when mums-to-be can take part in aqua-natal yoga, before moving onto progressive baby and toddler classes.
Founded by Bristol mums and business women Caroline Sparks and Gaby Lixton, the Turtle Tots brand now supports a network of over 50 licensees across the UK, Australia and Ireland.
The growing worldwide success of Turtle Tots has seen Caroline and Gabby up for three national business awards.
They are not only a finalist in the Business Leader Awards 2017, but both co-founders have been named as finalists in the Best Business Woman Awards, for their work with children and families, and nominated for The Forward Ladies National Awards (London and South) in the SME emerging category.
Co-founder of Turtle Tot, Caroline Sparks says: “Turtle Tots was originally born out of a desire by my partner, Gaby Lixton, and I to build a fulfilling career whilst also managing a very hectic family life. Back in 2010 when we founded the company, we had no idea that today we would be responsible for teaching over 11,000 babies to swim on a weekly basis and would have our business achievements recognised by such coveted awards.”
The Business Leader Awards 2017 will be announced on September 28, followed by the Best Women Awards evening on October 28 and the Forward Ladies National Awards will be announced regionally across September.
