Bristol Childcare Provision Charlton Nursery Expands to Meet Demand

A Bristol nursery is going from strength to strength after gaining a funding package allowing the childcare business to expand and develop

Charlton Nursery based in Flax Bourton obtained a six-figure sum from Natwest to continue growing their popular business.

The nursery currently has a site in Flax Bourton, Greater Bristol and Winterstoke Road in Bristol.

The childcare provision was set up by Helen Nott in 2004, frustrated by the lack of quality care for her own children in the area. Helen employs 70 staff across the two sites, with space for 185 children which Ofsted rate as Good with Outstanding features.

“Since opening our doors 13 years ago, NatWest has supported every stage of the business’s development,” Helen says.

“With our most recent expansion, more children now have access to quality childcare, putting them in a strong position to develop their skills and enjoy their childhood.”
