Bristol Christmas Market, Broadmead and Cabot Circus Christmas Lights

Bristol is ready for Christmas, with the opening of the Bristol Christmas Market and the switching on of lights around Broadmead and Cabot Circus.

There was no official ceremony to launch the season, although the occasion was marked by a massive fight outside of Greggs in The Galleries at 6pm.

The Bristol Christmas Market is back with everything you’ve come to expect from previous years. I’m not entirely sure how many garlic crushers, Name of Thrones or wooden ducks Bristol homes need, but it must be many for the various stalls to be making a comeback in consecutive years.

It was fairly accurately described by the person with me as ‘Christmas Meets Brean Leisure Park’. But, for those that love their annual Christmas tradition of Broadmead with the proliferation of small wooden huts, strangely proportioned nativity scene, bottle necks and a massive sex pest Santa in Cabot Circus, the annual delight has started.
