Bristol Christmas Market Father Christmas Sculptures Return

The quirky wooden statues have been spotted…waiting to come out

They’ve been a staple part of the Bristol Christmas Market for some years. Now, they are ready to make a return.

It’s just under a week until this year’s event officially opens. Work is taking place around Broadmead, with fairground rides and wooden huts being assembled.

One of the more quirky aspects of the market has been spotted, waiting to be positioned in Broadmead. It’s the wooden Father Christmases.

They are no ordinary wooden statues due to their slightly odd facial expressions.

The Father Christmas wielding a poorly placed sack containing a teddy bear is yet to be seen.
