Bristol Harbour Festival Returns in 2018 Artists and Entertainers and Traders Wanted

Bristol Harbour Festival is returning to Bristol again this year, with dates confirmed as 20-22 Jul7 2018.

The event is one of the biggest free festivals in the country, having launched in 1971 and attracting over 200,000 people attending annually.

The organisers are asking performers who wish to take part to get in touch: www.bristolharbourfestival.co.uk/info/get-involved/ as well as traders who can apply here: www.bristolharbourfestival.co.uk/info/food/  The deadline for applications is Wednesday 31 January 2018.

Mayor of Bristol, Marvin Rees said: “The Harbour Festival is one of the highlights of our internationally renowned cultural programme and the biggest showcase of Bristol culture and heritage there is. Year on year the festival provides inspiration and entertainment for communities across the city as well as the thousands who travel huge distances to take in its sights and sounds. Those experiences are only made possible with the participation of the many performers, stall holders and exhibitors that keep the festival’s cultural heart beating each year. I urge anyone who is interested in being part of the festival programme in 2018 to make contact with the organisers and help us make this year’s festival the biggest and most inclusive yet.”

The family festival features miles of waterfront entertainment in the heart of Bristol, including music, circus, theatre, dance and on-the-water displays.
