Bristol International Balloon Fiesta Bristol Thursday 10 – Sunday 13 August 2017

The possibility of losing the Bristol International Balloon Fiesta from Bristol, is causing a row of epic proportion across social media. Lack of funding from Central Government has seen ridiculous cuts across the city, libraries lost, park budgets cut to nothing and now the council is putting the future of the event at risk by recouping money from one of the biggest money spinners the city has.

But for this year, the event will be taking place and from Thursday 10 – Sunday 13 August 2017.

There’s been some barneys in recent time with drunk antisocial behaviour at the world famous night glows, but the glorious event has taken place in the city for nearly 40 years and has delighted its visitors with hundreds of balloons, events and entertainment.
