Bristol Parent Carers Annual Event Booking Open
Bristol Parent Carers will be holding their Annual Event this week. This year, the event will be taking place online and aims to pull together the range of Send services available for parent carers to find out more.
The event is free but bookable and will take place online on Thursday 11 March 2021 from 10am – 2.30pm.
Services will be giving presentations to parents about who they are, what they do and what the eligibility and referral service is.
The time table is:
10.00am – 10.15am – Welcome
10.15am to 10.30am: SEN Support and EHCPs
10.35am to 10.50am: Early Support
10.55am to 11.10am: Transitions Team and Preparation to Adulthood
11.15am to 11.30am: Social Care
11.35am to 11.50am: The Autism Hub
11.55am to 12.10pm: Mental Health – with a particular focus on early intervention and support
During the afternoon, there are bookable timeslots which will have a representative from one of the workshops to help parents understand more about how a service might be relative to their personal situation.
