Bristol Photographs Project A Day In The Life Offers Fascinating Glimpse into Daily Life

Bristol Photographs Project A Day In The Life captures city’s spirit

Amateur photographers who took to the streets of Bristol in 2017 captured the spirit of the city, in what is now an interesting and wistful look back at how things were before coronavirus.

The A Day In The Life project, created by Cartridge Save, saw street photographer Mark Waugh joined by amateur photographers across the city, documenting Bristol life over a period of 24 hours.

The original event took place on 19 August 2017 and aimed to capture a snapshot of the city on that particular day.

The photo library of the day has resurfaced whilst the country is in lockdown, offering a reminder of the colourful dynamic of Bristol in what feels like both a short while and lifetime ago.
