The well supported march started in the city centre at 6pm, leading through to Broadmead, Castle Park and returning up Baldwin Street to the centre again.

The coalition are calling the airstrikes on Syria by America – backed with Theresa May and President Macron – ‘an illegal international act of aggression.’ They fear the actions could cause further conflict by escalating the war.

The group is calling for the end to intervention and calling for a ceasefire.

Protests were held in Bristol, Exeter and London this evening.
