Bristol University Goldney Gardens Tours Launch

Bristol University is opening up its historic Goldney Gardens this year, with a series of tours allowing the public to explore the city’s secret space.

The gardens, located behind Goldney House in Clifton Wood, features an 18th century ornamental Grotto, water features and landscaping.

Although there will be no access to Goldney House itself, 1.5 hour tours will give people the chance to see and learn more about the garden’s features.

Tours start this month, with dates available until September.

Tours will take place on the following dates:

Thursday 21 April (pm) 2.00-3.30 pm

Thursday 28 April (am) 11.00-12.30 pm

Sunday 15 May (am) 10.30-12.00 pm

Wednesday 25 May (pm) 2.00-3.30 pm

Sunday 5 June (pm) 2.00-3.30 pm

Thursday 16 June (eve) 6.00-7.30 pm

Tuesday 28 June (pm) 2.00-3.30 pm

Sunday 10 July (am) 10.30-12.00 pm

Tuesday 5 July (eve) 6.00-7.30 pm

Wednesday 20 July (pm) 2.00-3.30 pm

Sunday 21 August (pm) 2.00-3.30 pm
