Budding child artists needed for Royal Botanic Gardens competition
Children are being invited to enter a special competition to celebrate the opening of the new Treehouse Towers play area at the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew.
Run by Velvet family toilet tissue, the My Fantasy Tree drawing competition is open to children between the ages of four and sixteen years of age.
To enter, children will need to draw their ultimate fantasy tree and the creatures which might live in it.
Working in association with the charity Trees for Cities, Velvet is pledging to plant a tree for every entry the competition receives.
Prizes include a VIP family day out to Kew Gardens with an overnight stay in London, a £500 shopping extravaganza at the world famous Hamley’s toy store and the winning design will also be displayed at Climbers and Creepers in Kew Gardens.
