Childcare stress leaves parents disliking holidays
The stress of trying to find childcare during the school summer holidays, leaves 51 per cent of parents disliking the long break.
In a poll of 1,231 UK parents by MyVoucherCodes.co.uk, 19 per cent overlooked how tired their children are at the end of the academic year, thinking the break should be shorter.
A 12 per cent of parents didn’t like the extra mess their children caused around the house.
Finances also factored into summer holiday dislike, with 49 per cent of parents worrying about the cost of entertaining children or paying for more childcare.
