Chopsy Baby is reviewing… Lazy Town Fit Fruits
Chopsy Baby Says: “Great flavours and didn’t cause bad behaviour.”
Rating: 10/10
UK juice supplier, Gerber Juice Company, have just launched a new range of nutritious children’s drinks based on the Lazy Town TV show.
Now there is no need to roll eyes because this juice is actually good. It is free from artificial sweeteners, flavours, colours and preservatives and one carton includes one five a day portion.
For those parents who have never seen the show, Lazy Town is a fictitious town/brand which features aspiring characters, good messages and strongly promotes health and fitness.
The new juice drink cartons feature the three main characters of Sportacus – the fit one, Stephanie Sparkles – that pink girl and Robbie Rotten – the funny one.
The Lazy Town three pack Fit Fruits are juice drinks – containing 75 per cent juice – and come in three flavours: apple and blackcurrant, lemon and lime and orange and peach.
Chopsy Baby editor Jen Smith tested the three flavours out with her five-year-old and one-year-old.
Jen says: “I was actually pleasantly surprised by the quality of these drinks. They taste really nice and didn’t send my children berserk. I thought having a picture of Stephanie would put my son off drinking it, but it didn’t. Both children said the juices tasted great and were happy to have them in lunch boxes.
“I think the lemon and lime flavour would be even better with a splash of gin and ice too.”
