Chopsy Baby is Reviewing… Madagascar 3: Europe’s Most Wanted

 

It’s the third film in the popular series of Madagascar movies, featuring regulars Marty, Alex, Gloria and Melman.

This time, the zoo animals join a travelling circus across Europe in an attempt to get back to New York. The usual mayhem ensues as they are relentlessly pursued by a French animal control inspector.

The bright film runs slickly on a witty script with slapstick fun and the need to suspend logical thinking.

The film isn’t weak, but this time around, it doesn’t shine so much and the storyline doesn’t engage adults quite as much as the previous two versions. Perhaps the very nature of its unpredictability is a little predictable. But kids enjoy these crazy capers and they will love this DVD.
