What is it?
This summer, ditch the frozen chicken products and coat your own chicken breasts with one in a new range of products from Maggi.

Their So Crispy range is a blend of herbs and spices that can be added to chicken to keep meat tender and juicy inside while providing a tasty, crispy outer coating.

The ‘So Crispy’ range is available in flavours: Herb and Garlic, Lemon and Herb and Chilli Chicken.

The instructions are simple and method quick. Simply dip the chicken breasts – up to four – in one beaten egg, then add to the breadcrumb mix. Pop in the oven for 25 minutes, and the meat element of dinner is done.

Emma Says: “I have never been a big fan of chicken for dinner. It’s not my favourite meat and I don’t like cheapy chicken nuggets or other mass produced chicken dinners.

“Having said that, I really enjoyed trying out the Maggi seasoning. The herb and garlic seasoning was easy to prepare and I could buy some really nice pieces of chicken to use it with.

“The seasoning has got a bit of a bite heat wise, but nothing to put off my fussy seven year old.

“There was plenty of seasoning to cover four fairly large pieces of organic chicken, and I used the left over Maggi to dusty our home made wedges. This proved to be popular and something I would do again.

“I think I worked out that coating chicken this way proved to be cheaper than buying pre-coated mass produced chicken dinners. That’s a winner in my eyes.”
