Chopsy Baby is reviewing… Organix Mighty Meals

Chopsy Baby Says: “Tasty and travel friendly range of food.”

Rating: 8/10

For food on the go this holiday, The Organix Mighty Meals range are perfect for packing away in the luggage.

The range has been developed for children aged one to three years of age as a meal during travel, or when standing at the cooker is beyond endurance.

These meals can be stored at room temperature, eaten at room temperature or warmed in hot water or a microwave.

There are eight different flavours and we had three youngsters taste test three of them at Chopsy Baby.

Spinach Falafels in Big Beany Sweet Red Pepper Sauce
Tested by one year old Harvey and mother Teresa Dannes

Teresa says: “Harvey really enjoyed this recipe and so did I. The falafels did not lack flavour and texture. I did cut them in half to make it easier for him to spoon up and eat. A lovely flavour.”

Pork Meatballs in Tomatoey Chickpea and Sweet Potato Sauce
Tested by two year old Grace and mother Emma Jennings

Emma says: “Grace was really off her food the night we tested this. She didn’t eat much. But she had a temperature the next day which would explain it. I think I ended up eating most of it. The pork meatballs were nice. It’s just the right portion size too.”

Tomatoey Beef Bolognese with Butternut Squash and Pasta Shells
Tested by two year old Elsa and mother Denise Farley

Denise says: “Pasta is my staple, emergency dish for when I run out of food so I rarely buy pasta based ready meals. I think Elsa found this slightly more tasty though as she ate all of it for once. I have never thought about putting butternut squash with pasta, but it really works. And an ideal I think I will steal.”
