You would think you would know about all the interesting places to visit in your own backyard. That is until the AA throw you 50 regional suggestions, many of which you have never even thought about doing.
As the “I’m bored mum!” cries continue to ring through the summer holidays, grabbing a pack of these cards and randomly selecting one would seem the ideal way to avoid more holiday rows.
For Bristol folk eager to get out of the city for the day, great suggestions include: STEAM – Museum of the Great Western Railway, Fleet Air Arm Museum, The Helicopter Museum, Haynes International Motor Museum and No 1 Royal Crescent in Bath.
While yes, you could get the information for free on the internet, sometimes the inspiration or connection is not available first thing on a far stretching Sunday morning.
Get up, get in the car/go to the train station, pick a card and off you go.
