Chopsy Baby is Reviewing… The Day the Crayons Quit by Drew Daywalt and Oliver Jeffers

crayons quit

This brilliant book is a series of inventive letters written by a pack of crayons to a child, each outlining a problem they have with his colouring. Adults can relate to this story as well as children. Yellow and Orange are arguing over the colour of the sun and providing examples of work. Blue has become too short and stumpy and pink is cross because he feels Duncan treats him as a female colour.

This is one of those rare must read books.
