Chopsy Baby is reviewing… The New Aqua Pets

 

A new range of Wild Planet’s Aquapets has launched, with updated pods, new games and more interactivity.

The range includes eight three-dimensional characters, with individual sounds, songs and style.

The pets come alive through interactive play and respond to sound with movement and tunes.

The more they are interacted with, the livelier they will become.

Aqua pets have three new interactive games:

Memory Moov – a memory game
Aqua Speed – a reflex challenge
Bubble Boogie – a way to make the pet dance

Aquapets will also interact with other Aquapets when placed together. They will dance and chat to each other.

The toys are really substantially made. They survived being dropped from height by accident several times. The pet inside has managed to untangle itself quickly after being shaken. In fact, the level of accidents our Aquapet has managed to survive has been hugely impressive considering the many attempts on its existence by a butterfingered staff member at Chopsy Baby.

The interactive games the pet takes part in are the kind that will be enjoyed by youngsters playing in their bedroom, rather than being something a adult could scrape an interest in.

Its singing does not register highly on the Adult Irritation Radar, making it a good choice for longer car journeys and traffic jams.

Chole says: “I think my Aquapet is really cute. It is blue and there is a pink cat inside called Bebe. She sings songs and, you can get her to repeat back what you are saying. She replies with sounds. I really love her and would like to have some more. So she has friends to play with.”
