Competitive parents’ race causes sports gear sales to rocket

Sales of adult sporting gear has shot up in recent weeks, with Amazon.co.uk attributing this to competitive parents and school sports day.

According to their latest figures, sales of Adult Racing Sacks have increased by 263 per cent this month.

Stopwatches are up by 221 per cent and with the nice weather, family rounders kits have also increased by 1,100 per cent.
