COVID-19 Vaccine Myths will stream live on Tuesday 26 January from 7 – 8.30pm
An event, aiming to provide more information and dispel myths regarding the COVID-19 vaccine, will be taking place online next week.
Healthcare specialists will be answering questions about the three approved vaccines, how they work and cover common concerns such as if it is safe and what are the side effects if any?
The event is being run by the Bristol Race Equality COVID-19 Steering Group, Bristol City Council and the Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG). Deputy mayor Councillor Asher Craig, Deputy Mayor will make the introduction with panel discussion led by Vice Chair of the steering group, Dr. Jo Brooks.
Dr Rajeka Lazarus, Consultant in Infectious Diseases and Microbiology and Principal Investigator for West of England COVID-19 Vaccine studies will be the key speaker. Other panel members include Dr. Kerfoot, Dr. Huzaifa Adamali, Dr. Charlie Kenward, Consultant in Public Health – Health Protection at Bristol City Council Julie Northcott, Community Development Manager Mohammed Elsharif
