Deaf and Hearing Impaired Development Group keen for Bristol parents to take part in review
A review of educational provisions for deaf children in Bristol is currently under way.
The Deaf and Hearing Impaired Development Group (DHIDG) is keen for as many people to take part as possible.
The developmental group includes experts from education, health and the Elmfield School for the Deaf, who are working to resolve the threatened future of Elmfield.
There are proposals to move deaf and hearing impaired children into mainstream schools, addressing their needs with two specialist hearing impaired resource bases for primary and secondary aged children.
