Some parts of Doctor Who The Giggle were filmed in Bristol in 2022

After 18 months of waiting, the third Doctor Who 60th Anniversary Special – The Giggle – which was filmed in Bristol has finally aired.

In a stunning climax which revealed a bi-generation, Ncuti Gatwa’s first appearance as 15 and a happy-ever-after for 14, it’s been a dramatic month for the Whoniverse.

Chaotic crowd scenes were filmed on Clare Street and St Stephens Street. The Toymaker’s shop is located on Broad Street, with a second day of filming taking place on location there.
