Don’t Accidentally Re-Gift Presents Back to the Original Giver

Some might say it’s stingy or tight. Others may believe it’s bad manners or the influence of hipsters, but recycling old Christmas gifts is a Thing and it’s gaining in popularity.

However, don’t be one of the ten per cent of Londoners or 13 per cent from Northern Ireland who accidentally re-gift an item back to the original giver a year later.

A total of 60 per cent of the 2000 people taking part in the survey had received unwanted Christmas gifts, with 50 per cent of those choosing to give them away and a brutal 25 per cent selling them.

But gifting website IJustLoveIt.co.uk, also found we can be a generous lot with those in the North East being particularly giving spending over £600 on Christmas presents on friends and family.
