Every Pair Tells A Story – Send Campaign in Bristol

Families in Bristol took part in national action today, raising awareness of failures within the education system which has been affecting their child or young person with Special Educational Needs or Disabilities (Send).

Around 50 pairs of shoes were placed on College Green outside of Bristol City Council’s council house.

The campaign was organised by Send Sanctuary UK, with action taking place across England.

Ahead of the event, organisers said: “Every pair of shoes is a child’s story, and together they form a message too powerful to ignore. We are standing for every child who has been left behind.

“The government must listen to parents. We are not the problem. We are the evidence of the problem. Our children deserve more than words. They deserve action, fairness and a future.”
