Fabric Africa: Stories told through textiles at Bristol Museum & Art Gallery

Bristol Museum & Art Gallery is currently hosting  collection of modern and historic textiles from across Africa.

The exhibition aims to showcase the techniques and talent as well as give a voice to the personal stories they can tell.

The items date from the 1800 too present day and come from places including Swaziland, Mali, Sudan and Nigeria.

Fabric Africa is a stunning snapshot of the diversity of modern and historic textiles from across the continent of Africa.

The event is free to attend and runs until 19 May 2019
