Fall from St Jude’s Flats in Bristol Prompts Critical Response

St Jude’s residents described the aftermath of a man falling from a block of flats as ‘distressing’, in an incident which shook the local area this morning.

A critical response team flanked by nine emergency service vehicles arrived on Wade Street to assist in the major incident.

The fall occurred at the back of John Cozens flats, which sits on Lamb Street.

A man fell from height onto a vehicle parked on a lane between the back of the flats and a children’s play area on Great Ann Street.

The top of Wade Street, near Cabot Circus car park, was filled with ambulances, police and a critical response team at 11am this morning.

Witnesses described the scene as ‘upsetting’ with a man taken away by paramedics.
