Featured Charity: Smile With Siddy – Raising funds and awareness of neuroblastoma

smile with siddy

Smile with Siddy, is a charity set up by the Bristol parents of  Sidney (Siddy) Cahill, in memory of the child they lost to a rare form of childhood cancer called neuroblastoma.

Because it is rare, neuroblastoma hasn’t had the same amount of public focus as other forms of cancer.

The charity is aiming to increase awareness and help fund clinical trials to increase the effectiveness of treatments.

As it is a relatively new charity, it is still wading through the complicated process of gaining charitable status.

However, there is more information about the charity here: www.smilewithsiddy.co.uk and here: www.facebook.com/SmileWithSiddy and this is a cause that is very much worth supporting.
