First aid video for parents

There is still time to sign up for a free baby first aid course visiting Bristol this November.

Research from Tesco Baby and Toddler Club found that 82 per cent of parents faced with a baby or child choking would not know what to do.

The free first aid course run by the superstore will be visiting cities across the UK will teach parents how to deal calmly with such a frightening event.

In the meantime, a video offering advice to parents on how they should react in an emergency situation, featuring Dr Hannah Shore from the Royal Life Saving Society UK and celebrity mum Terri Dwyer can be viewed here on YouTube.

The Bristol first aid course will be held on Monday 2 November 2009. Participants will receive a goody bag containing a free BabySafe DVD and selection of products.
