Five a day with Perry Court Farm Apple Crisps

image005

Hurray for Perry Court Farm, who have produced the mouthwatering Apple Crisps. Not only do they fool children into thinking they are actually eating crisps, they taste delicious and count towards your five a day.

The crisps are the brainchild of twenty two year old Charlie Fermor, who came up with the idea while studying for a degree in agriculture.

Charlie uses home grown apples from his family’s farm to produce the crisps. The Apples are simply picked, washed, cored, sliced then dried using air. The end result is a totally natural, tasty, sweet crunchy snack that we found both adults and children adored.

Apple Crisps are currently being sold across the South East in farm shops and markets, but there are plans to introduce the crisps nationwide and sell them over the internet.

This snack really is one in the eye for the school lunch box inspectors. We love them.
