Free child places available on north Bristol MEND fitness plan

Free places are still available on a children’s fitness plan running in north Bristol.

The next MEND programme will be starting on  Monday 24 January 2011 at the Greenway Centre.

The course, usually costing £400 per place, has free places available funded by the Big Lottery.

Children aged seven to eleven years who are above the healthy weight range for their height can apply to take part.

MEND stands for Mind, Exercise, Nutrition…Do it!  and  takes place after school twice a week for 10 weeks (excluding half-term).

A parent or carer must accompany each child to the twice-weekly sessions and places must be booked in advance.

Places on the MEND Programme are being offered completely free on a first come, first served basis. For more information on the MEND programme or to register for the programme please call 0117 922 3867.
