Free child places on MEND Bristol course

Families needing to get healthier can join a free fitness programme running at Easton Leisure Centre this May.

The MEND course is aimed at children between the ages of seven and thirteen who are above the healthy weight for their age and height.

MEND stands for Mind, Exercise, Nutrition…Do it! and is a national scheme aimed at tackling childhood obesity.

Bristol City Council are able to offer free places from Big Lottery funding.

The Easton programme will be running twice a week for ten weeks from Monday 09 May through to Monday 18 July 2011.
