Free parenting courses in Bristol
A new timetable of free parenting courses to help families take a positive approach to parenting has been released by Bristol City Council.
Aimed at parents with children aged two years and upwards, the courses will help parents with difficult behaviour and offer other parenting skills.
Eight courses are running in the summer term and are available at 14 educational or community settings.
A free crèche will available at some.
Bristol City Council course tutor, Saf Cooper, said: “All parents need support and encouragement at some point to cope with challenging situations. These courses are designed to help mums and dads to practice positive parenting skills to help them get on with a more enjoyable family life.”
