Geoff Twentyman in the driving seat for Radio Bristol

Former professional footballer, Geoff Twentyman, has been announced as the new presenter for BBC Radio Bristol’s drivetime show

Geoff, who began his career playing for Bristol Rovers, will be starting on Monday 29 October.

He said: “I am really flattered to be given the chance to broadcast a show every day in the part of the country that has been my home for over 25 years. I sense I am an adopted Bristolian and I have a huge affinity with BBC Radio Bristol. Covering the day’s news, a huge variety of features, music and of course the chance to interact with the audience – is an awesome prospect.”
