Government money gets children active this holiday
Plenty of activities for children have been running in Bristol this summer thanks to a successful bid for Government cash.
Bristol City Council secured £337,000 of funding to run outdoor activities and physical play sessions for children across the city.
Youngsters have been able to take part in dance classes, trampolining, swimming and different sporting activities.
Cabinet Member for Children and Young People, Councillor Clare Campion-Smith, said: “Our priority is to support play schemes in the city in providing a really exciting range of opportunities for children, so they can follow their interests, or try something new.”
