Guests avoiding weddings this year

Cash strapped wedding guests are cutting their spending on weddings this year. Research by home and travel insurer LV= reveals that 19 per cent of people would avoid a wedding invitation unless they were close to the people getting hitched.

Men are planning to spend no more than £62 on wedding gifts and women will only fork out £40.00.
