How to access your Supervisor of Midwives

A new leaflet, produced by the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) will explain to expectant parents about Supervisors of midwives (SoMs) and how to access support about care during their pregnancy.

SoMs, are midwives with additional training to help midwives provide quality care and oversee that high standards are maintained.

The leaflets will be included in the packs from this June.
