How to… Make jam tarts
You need:
Pastry cutter or cup
Cake tray
Ingredients
Plain flour – four tablespoons
Butter/Margarine – two tablespoons
Sugar – one tablespoon
Jam
Method
1. Sift flower into bow, rub in the butter until you have breadcrumbs.
2. Add sugar and milk and make a dough.
3. Dust work surface with flower, slap out dough and roll with a rolling pin.
4. Cut out each tart base and place in a greased tin.
5. Add some jam in each and cook for ten minutes at roughly 180 degrees.
6. Eat – job done.
