Tuesday Get Hands On
The City of Bristol Museum on Park Street is hosting a hands on natural world wildlife event for children aged 2-11 years. Free of charge, running from 10.30 – 12.30 and 13.30 – 16.00 pm.
Wednesday go to the library
The Central Library on College Green is a fabulous place to take children. Really friendly, with a huge collection of books, bean bags and a ship! On Wednesdays from 10am they have Baby Bounch and Rhyme, and a storytime from 11.15am. Free. Check holiday arrangements.
Thursday try somewhere different
Portishead’s Lake Grounds are ideal for a picnic. There is an old fashion boating lake, small park and the popular Parish Wharf swimming pool.
Friday get moving to music
Get toddlers dancing and moving to music at Movement and Music, Bedminster Methodist Church Hall
Session One: 9.40 – 10.20 am ages 18 months (confident walkers) – 2 1/2 years
Session Two: 10.30 – 11.15 am ages 2 1/2 years – 4 years
Price: £2.50 per family
Session includes: warm up, creative games and movement to music, games with the parachute and a winding down art activity. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
Saturday go to ballet class
Find a local ballet class near you that offers drop in sessions.
Sunday bag a bargain
