In Bristol, according to the 2011 census, there are 40,138 unpaid carers in Bristol. This led to carer Carina Andrews, creating Invisible Army’s 40,138 project.

The installation features 40,138 handmade flowers, each representing one of Bristol’s unpaid carers.

The flowers cover a set-up of a disabled person’s room based on Carina’s personal experience.

The event will be running until 12 December 2022 during The Galleries opening hours.
