Keep kids active

More research proving the benefits of children being active during the daytime shows that for each hour of the day kids do nothing, it adds three minutes to the time it takes them to fall asleep.

Research published in the Archives of Disease in Childhood showed that children who fall asleep faster also sleep for longer.

Poor sleep patterns in children have been associated with the usual suspects of poorer school performance and an increased risk of being overweight and obese.

Results of tests confirmed what parents could already tell you, that tiring out a child with plenty of activity during the day will increase the chances of them sleeping well.
